Founded in 2006 by individuals who were concerned about children being denied participation in youth sports due to a lack of financial resources, the Metro Athletic Network, Inc. (MAN) seeks to promote healthy lifestyles and positive character development for at risk youth through participation in youth sports.

The Metro Youth Flag Football League 2010 Season a smashing Success!!!

 

The  MYFFL completed is 4th season in the May.  Once again, we had over 30 theams from the metro Atlanta area participate in our league.

 

We are looking forward to even more teams from the metro area participating in the 2011 season which begans March, 2011.

We are preparing for a FANTASTIC 2009 flag football season that will allow for FUNdamental skill development for every child. 

We're working hard to ensure that the 2009 Metro Youth Flag Football League is going to be the best ever.

Metro Athletic Network

The Metro Athletic Network is devoted to preventing childhood obesity by promoting physical fitness among disadvantaged children through particpation in team sports.

 

The mission of the Metro Athletic Network is to encourage youth athletes to practice ethical behavior, including fair play, integrity and adherence to rules.  All games will represent in perception and practice, the appreciation for athletic excellence and the shared educational experience of competition.  All individuals associated with athletic activities will be aware of and responsible for their influence on the behavior of others and be models of good sportsmanship.

The Metro Athletic Network partners with a host of area youth organizations to provide a comprehensive and meaningful experience for all participants. 

 

 

DID YOU KNOW?

 

Metro Athletic Network, Inc.  provides NYSCA training for both football and cheer coaches.

Football training is held mutiple times throughout the year. 

The next seesion will be held in July.
